AQUAL

Type: Branding
Year: 2025

AQUAL is a new water brand for 2040 that preserves and delivers water in its diverse forms, creating new ways for the world to store and share hydration. The name AQUAL also means ”from Aqua to Equality.“ Our long-term goal is to create a world where water is preserved and shared with stability and fairness—so that humanity can once again live in harmony with water.

By 2040, as many have predicted, the global temperature has risen by 2°C. The environment and climate have drastically changed, just as we imagined. Our water resources have been deeply influenced in terms of space and time, causing a more severely unstable future for water. And that is why AQUAL was designed.

To reflect our values — innovation, openness and hope — we chose three main colors: orange (solar), green (life), and blue (water), paired with three supporting graphics representing different states of water.



O1. Future Products

SNOW

Found mainly in colder regions. Purified snowflakes are sealed in crystal-safe pouches—just like crispy potato chips in the Arctic. Each bite refreshes and rehydrates you.
RAIN

Purified raindrops are encapsulated in edible spheres, eliminating the waste from leftover water at the bottom of traditional bottles.
MIST

Designed especially for arid regions. Moisture is captured and condensed into an inhalable vapor, stored in a tech-enabled container.




O2. Campaign

Our bodies are made up of around 60% water—and our moods and health are deeply connected to it. AQUAL’s new online campaign invites people to rethink our relationship with water, and to explore all the ways water can be felt, imagined, and transformed.

“Water you today?”

”I’m like the fog on a winter window.”
“I feel as helpless as invisible moisture in the air.”
“I’m just like the tear that falls after the end of a movie.”
Anything is possible.

These moments will be shared across social media and collected on a website—a global platform gathering the emotional states of water. From photos and illustrations to sound, text, and poetry—every format is welcome.

Together, we’ll open new ways of connecting with water, reimagine its possibilities, and spark the next generation of water products.
