For Roing, design is a medium for storytelling. By visually translating information, she excels at using geometric imagery and layered visuals to help audiences clearly grasp messages. This skill is evident in her education-focused works, such as Chinese textbooks designed for migrant workers or animated films about Taiwanese architecture created for children.
After three years as a freelance designer, Roing’s passion for storytelling drew her to New York. In this new city, she aims to explore themes from diverse perspectives, including Taiwanese religious beliefs, mysticism, and yoga practices, as she delves into the balance of mind and body. Through design, she hopes to share this journey and make it accessible to a wider audience.
