SURPRISE! The Year of Snake

Every Lunar New Year, I create small gifts for my family and friends. In 2025, the Year of the Snake, I’m celebrating the holiday abroad for the first time, but I still made gifts for my loved ones in Taiwan. Inspired by the pronunciation of "snake" (shé), which sounds like "sur," I chose the theme "SUR"PRISE and designed snake-shaped keychains. Sending these surprises from afar, I hope to bring them joy and wish them a year full of exciting and unexpected moments.

I used acrylic laser cutting to create various snake designs with geometric shapes and chose a candy-inspired color palette of orange, green, and yellow to make the keychains vibrant and playful. This fun design ensures that even friends who might be afraid of snakes can enjoy and cherish them.

For the packaging, I incorporated the keychain holder directly into the greeting card design by cutting off two corners of the card’s diamond pattern. This seamless integration allows the keychain and card to become a cohesive set, enhancing the gifting experience.
